Dear collectors and investors,

We would like to invite you to our first live room auction, which will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. at the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in Bratislava. However, you can also place bids in advance or in real time on the internet, as you got used to during our previous online auctions.

We thank the organizers of the BRATISLAVAFILA 2023 stamp exhibition, who made this auction possible, as well as our Czech and Slovak suppliers, friends, and clients, who provided top philatelic items for the auction.

We strived for an attractive selection, and believe that we succeeded. The auction contains 700 lots, both from the Czech lands and foreign territories. We offer rare and seldom–seen stamps from almost all issues of Czechoslovakia 1918–1939. Some of the stamps are truly unique or were issued in a very low number of copies; several lots are being offered in a Czech or Slovak auction for the very first time. The same can be said about many lots from Slovakia 1939−1945 and Czechoslovakia 1945−1992; among them, we can find unique or extremely sought–after stamps as well. In the category of foreign stamps we offer, for example, first–rate items from Austria or British colonies.

The lowest starting price in this auction is 3 000 Kč. The only exceptions are the lots provided by the Slovak Post, which will be auctioned for charity and the entire profit will be sent to the Červený nos (Red Nose) Clowndoctors.

In the future our company plans to organize, besides the traditional online auctions, further live room auctions, for example during major philatelic exhibitions or other events or on the occasion of sales of significant collections, following the wishes of our clients. In such cases we will always issue a prestigious printed catalog.

Finally, we want to invite you to view the lots that are being offered in person in Prague or, during the day of the auction, in Bratislava. I believe that many of you will participate in the auction personally, combining it with the examination of the exhibits and a visit to the philatelic trade fair.

Internet advance bids end on June 3 (Saturday) at 7 a.m., the auction starts on June 3 at 9.30 a.m.

An in–site viewing of lots is possible in Prague on Wednesday, May 31 (or, by prior agreement, on another day), as well as during the auction day, Saturday, June 3, in Bratislava from 9 a.m.
